On October 13th, Cage Fury Fighting Championship put on their latest card, a pro-am event. While the event featured only six fights, the fights themselves were really exciting and featured some high quality fighters. CFFC seems to put on a fan friendly event.
1. Amateur Featherweight
Damon Bonner (0-0) cs Andrew Hom (1-0)
RD 1: Hom catches a kick and takes him down but Bonner gets on top in guard. Bonner pushes him to the cage and lands body shots. A sweep by Hom and he gets on top in mount. Head shots by Hom. More head shots by Hom forcing the ref to stop it.
Result: Andrew Hom by TKO at 1:35 of Round 1.
2. Amateur Featherweight
Abe Toure (0-0) vs Mike Shipman (0-0)
RD 1: Leg kick by Shipman. They clinch on the cage. Knee to the body by Toure. Knee to the body by Shipman. They separate and Shipman lands a jab. Leg kick by Toure. Leg kick by Shipman. Two leg kicks by Toure. They trade punches. Jab by Shipman. Cross by Shipman. Takedown by Toure but he lets him right back up. Shipman lands punches against the cage. Cross by Toure. Leg kick by Shipman and another. They trade punches as the round ends.

RD 2: Leg kick by Toure. Leg kick by Shipman. Toure shoots in but can't get the takedown. Jab by Toure. Leg kick by Toure. They clinch against the cage. Takedown by Shipman and he gets mount and lands punches. Nice job by Toure to stand. They clinch on the cage and Shipman lands a body shots. They separate. Jab by Toure. Jab and cross by Toure. Hook by Toure. Leg kick by Shipman. Hook and leg kick by Shipman. Hook by Toure. They trade punches as the round ends.

RD 3: Cross by Shipman. Toure shoots in but Shipman throws him down and gets on top in side control. Shipman goes for a guillotine but can't get it and Toure stands. Toure drops into half guard. Shipman gets full guard and then is able to stand. Shipman slams him down and gets his back. Toure rolls into him and is in guard. Shipman gets his back again and looks for a rear naked but Toure is able to hold on till the bell.

3. Pro Flyweight
Gregory Saumenig (5-3) vs Sergio Da Silva (0-3)
RD 1: Body kick by Saumenig. Saumenig ducks a kick and goes for a takedown and gets it and is in guard. Elbow to the head by Saumenig. Da Silva tries for an arm but Saumenig escapes. Da Silva now goes for a triangle and gets it for the tap.
Result: Sergio Da Silva by Tapout (Triangle) at 1:52 of Round 1
4. Pro Featherweight
Ben Syers (0-1) vs Myron Baker (0-0)
RD 1: Leg kick by Baker. Syers drops him with a cross and kicks at his legs. Syers drops into side control but Baker pulls guard. Good defense by Baker. Punch to the head by Syers. Syers gets side control and then gets his back. Head shots by Syers. Body shots now by Syers. Syers goes for a rear naked. It looks tight but Baker is fighting it and escapes it. Baker stands but Syers is still on his back. Baker shakes him off and falls into Syers guard. Elbows to the head by Baker opes a bad cut on Syers forehead. Baker stands . Up kick by Syers. Baker drops back into his guard. Body shot by Baker.

RD 2: Cross by Syers. Hook by Syers. Hook by Baker. Cross by Baker. Uppercut by Baker. Syers shoots in but Baker gets on top and lands hard punches. Syers is working to stand and Baker lands an illegal knee to the head but the ref doesn't call it. Syers gets up. Baker lands a hook that hurts Syers and as he is falling Baker lands a nice knee to the head and the ref stops it.
Result: Myron Baker by TKO at 1:14 of Round 2
5. Pro Light Heavyweight
Walter Howard (2-1) vs Anton Berzin (2-1)
RD 1: Cross by Berzin. They clinch and move to the cage. Knee to the body by Howard and another. Knee to the body by Berzin. Knee to the leg by Berzin. Punch to the body by Berzin. They trade knees to the leg. They move to the center of the cage still clinched and trade knees. The move back to the cage and Berzin lands a knee to the leg. Berzin looks for a double leg and get it and is in guard. Head shots by Berzin. They stand still clinch and Howard takes him down into guard. Howard gets his back and lands head shots. They stand and clinch on the cage. Takedown into side control by Berzin. Berzin gets mount and lands elbows to the head. Nice escape by Howard and he is on top in guard. Berzin rolls and gets Howard's back. Head shots by Berzin. Berzin gets a rear naked and gets the tap.
Result: Anton Berzin by Tapout (Rear Naked Choke) at 3:53 of Round 1
6. Pro Welterweight
Jason Louck (16-9) vs Aung La N Sang (13-8)
RD 1: Two crosses by Louck. Body kick by Louck. They trade punches. Hook by Louck. They clinch but quickly separate. Leg kick by La N Sang. Hard hook by La N Sang. They trade hard punches. Leg kick by La N Sang. Cross by La N Sang and another. They trade punches. Cross and uppercut by La N Sang. La N Sang drops him with a hook and lands two more punches on the ground and the ref stops it.
Result: Aung La N Sang by TKO at 2:30 of Round 1
