UFC on ESPN 3: Ngannou vs Dos Santos Results





UFC on ESPN 3 took place June 29th from Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In women's action Amanda Ribas was successful in her UFC debut defeating Emily Whitmire. UFC: Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series Results






The latest Tuesday Night Contender Series took place June 25th from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the Main Event Tony Johnson took a decision from Alton Cunningham. Johnson had him hurt early and on the verge of stopping him but Cunningham was able to regroup and make the second and third rounds much closer. The bout started out slow but the action really picked up late with both landing some effecting kicks and punches. In the end, the judges had it so close that it was ruled a draw. Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 6: Malignaggi vs Lobov Results






BKFC 6 took place June 22nd from Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida. The Main Event featured the highly anticipated battle of "boxer vs MMA" when Paulie Malignaggi faced Artem Lobov. All five rounds were fairly close with Malignaggi using his speed and footwork to try and get Lobov to chase him a bit and he was able to land some good shots while doing so. Lobov for his part tried to clinch up and do damage in the clinch and cut Malignaggi's head pretty badly in doing so. In the end, all three judges sided with Lobov. UFC Fight Night 154: Moicano vs Zombie Results





UFC Fight Night 154 took place June 22nd from Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. In women's action Andrea Lee got a big win taking a decision from Montana De La Rosa. Lee controlled most of the stand-up action, landing more frequently and coming forward. De La Rosa was able to secure takedowns but was not able to keep Lee Down or do much with them until threatening with submissions late in round three. Ashley Yoder scored a dominant decision of Syuri Kondo. Yoder was just too good especially on the ground, holding dominant positions to inflict damage. Bellator 222: MacDonald vs Gracie Results






Bellator 222 took place June 14th from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York. In women's action Taylor Turner defeated boxing World Champ Heather Hardy. Turner got the takedown quick and Hardy showed an inability to do anything to get off the ground. Turner wasn't landing powerful shots but continued landing punches and the accumulation was too much and the ref stopped it. Also Lindsey VanZandt defeated Rena Kubota in round one. Kubota landed some hard punches in the beginning but seemed to get a bit lazy and VanZandt seized the moment and got a clinch and then her back and put her to sleep. Also Valerie Loureda remained unbeaten taking a decision from Larkyn Dasch. Dasch showed heart continuing to march forward but Loureda was just too much for her. RIZIN 16 Results







RIZIN 16 took place June 2nd from Kobe Memorial Hall in Kobe, Japan. In women's action, Atomweight Champion Ayaka Hamasaki won the battle of champions when she took a decision from Invicta FC Atomweight Champion Jinh Yu Frey. Frey won the first two rounds as both fighters were cautious but Frey was more effective. However round three saw Hamasaki get the takedown and dominate from the top. As RIZIN scores MMA fights as a whole instead of the round by round scoring we see in America, it was enough for Hamasaki to take the win. Also Miyuu Yamamoto got a huge win upsetting Kanna Asakura. UFC Fight Night 153 took place June 1st from Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden. In women's action Lina Lansberg got a huge win taking a decision from Tonya Evinger. The story of the bout was Evinger forcing her way in and getting the clinch as she wanted but once it went to the ground, Lansberg would take over and land hard ground and pound. Also Bea Malecki defeated Duda Santana. Round one went to Santana, landing the harder shots and doing more damage but in round two Malecki made the comeback and when it went to the ground she got the choke and the win.
