EFC 82 took place September 28th from Carnival City Casino in Brakpan, South Africa. In the night's main event Themba Gorimbo became the new welterweight champion with a first round stoppage of Luke Michael. Early in round one Gorimbo opened a really bad cut on Michael. After the doctor took a look the bout continued. Gorimbo sensing his opponent was in trouble landed vicious ground and pound and forced the ref to stop it. UFC 242: Khabib vs Poirier Results





UFC 242 took place September 7th from The Arena in Abu Dhabi, Dubain, United Arab Emerates. In women's action Joanne Calderwood scored a big win taking a close split decision from Andrea Lee. Most of the bout was on the feet with both having moments coming forward and landing strikes and trying to seal the round with late takedowns.
