UFC 245 took place December 14th from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action, Amanda Nunes retained her bantamweight title with a decision over Germaine de Randamie. Round one saw Nunes on the verge of getting the stoppage as she landed vicious ground and pound. Round two saw de Randamie mount a comeback and seem to hurt the champ. From then on the story was the same with Nunes taking it to the ground and while not landing a lot of damage, doing just enough to avoid getting stood up and walk away with the decision.
