WXC Warrior Wednesdays 5 took place July 31st from Crystal Gardens in Southgate, Michigan. In the main event, Juancamilo Ronderos became the promotions Bantamweight Champion by defeating Matt Elliott. In the second round they went to the ground and Ronderos got an armbar and snapped his arm, forcing the ref to stop it. However afterwards, Elliott threw another punch and Ronderos which set Ronderos off and he landed more punches before the ref was able to take him down and stop the chaos. UFC 240: Holloway vs Edgar Results







UFC 240 took place July 27th from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In women's action, Cris Cyborg rebounded from her loss to Amanda Nunes with a victory over Felicia Spencer. Spencer showed heart taking a lot of punishment in her biggest fight to date but Cyborg was just landing too much and preventing Spencer from getting it to the ground. Earlier Viviane Araujo took a decision from Alexis Davis in a close fight. Aruajo had Davis's face a mess from landing hard shots and the judges gave her the fight. CES 57: Rebello vs Haley Results

UFC on ESPN 4 took place July 20th from San Antonio, Texas. In women's action Raquel Pennington won a close decision from Irene Aldana. The decision came down to round one as round two was all Aldana using aggressive striking and landing some very good shots. Round three saw Pennington on top landing hard shots. Both fighters cautiously landed punches and kicks early in the round till Nunes stepped up the aggression and dropped her with a head kick and followed up with punches till the ref stopped it.
