UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs Holland Results






UFC Fight Night took place March 20th from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action Montserrat Cornejo was successful in her UFC debut taking a decision from Cheyanne Buys. Cornejo kept repeatedly getting the headlock takedown and kept the position on the ground. She never came close to a finish but Buys was unable to escape the takedowns or get up once she went down. After the fight, both fighters had to be separated as words were exchanged. Earlier Macy Chiasson won a decision in a really good fight against Marion Reneau. Early on Reneau had success, especially with leg kicks. But then Chiasson took over, hurting Reneau with punches and then just being the aggressor and landing harder more frequent shots. UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs Muhammad Results





UFC Fight Night took place March 13th from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action Angela Hill looked great taking a decision from Ashley Yoder. From the outset, Hill outstruck her and had her backing up. Yoder did get a takedown late in the third round but that was really her only significant offense. Earlier JJ Aldrich took a very close decision from Cortney Casey. Round one saw Casey look good coming forward and landing. Round two saw Aldrich come back and have good moments on the feet. Round three was very close with both landing some good shots. In the end, two of the three judges sided with Aldrich. Round one was Hracho using harder striking to jump out to the lead. In round two both fighters landed some good shots in the closest round of the fight and in round three after a close few minutes King dropped her with a head kick that was enough to get her the round. Earlier Isis Verbeek defeated Valerie Wong. Wong got off to a good start getting a takedown but Verbeek reversed it and did some work on top. Rounds two and three were close with Verbeek's striking just a step ahead of Wong's. In the end, all three judges sided with Verbeek. Other female winners were Macy Breaux and Griffin Fisk.
