iKon Fighting Federation 5 Results

iKon 5 took place March 5th from Biloxi Civic Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. In women's action Emilee King took a close decision from Kayla Hracho. Round one was Hracho using harder striking to jump out to the lead. In round two both fighters landed some good shots in the closest round of the fight and in round three after a close few minutes King dropped her with a head kick that was enough to get her the round. Earlier Isis Verbeek defeated Valerie Wong. Wong got off to a good start getting a takedown but Verbeek reversed it and did some work on top. Rounds two and three were close with Verbeek's striking just a step ahead of Wong's. In the end, all three judges sided with Verbeek. Other female winners were Macy Breaux and Griffin Fisk. 4. Welterweight: AJ Fletcher (7-0) defeated Wesley Golden (9-18) via Tapout (Arm Triangle) at 1:07 of Round 1.

5. Strawweight: Isis Verbeek (1-1) defeated Valerie Wong (0-2) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/30-27). We scored it 30-27 Verbeek.

6. Strawweight: Emilee King (5-4) defeated Kayla Hracho (3-3) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Hracho.

7. 175LB Catch Weight: Socrates Pierre (12-6) defeated Harris Stephenson (6-3) via Tapout (D'arce Choke) at 2:57 of Round 3.

8. Featherweight: Jason Knight (21-6) defeated Cliff Wright (12-15) via Tapout (Rear Naked Choke) at 1:48 of Round 2.
