UFC 261: Usman vs Masvidal 2 Results





UFC 261 took place April 24th from VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. In women's action Rose Namajunas regained the strawweight title with a knockout of Weili Zhang in the first round. After an initial exchange of strikes, Namajunas put her down and out with a head kick in just over one minute to claim the title. Earlier Valentina Shevchenko retained her flyweight title dominating Jessica Andrade. Shevchenko made it clear from the beginning that she was going to look for the takedowns and got them with ease. LFA 105: Rodriguez vs Gotsyk Results





LFA 105 took place April 23rd from Grand Hotel Casino and Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma. In the main event Pierangela Rodriguez won the vacant strawweight title by defeating Svetlana Gotsyk. Most of the bout was the two trading strikes on the feet with Rodriguez landing the harder shots. Gotsyk started to make a comeback late but then in round five the went to the ground and Rodriguez got the TKO. Earlier Tabatha Ricci remained unbeaten by defeating Shawna Ormsby. In round one Ricci got it to the ground and remained on top landing strikes. Ormsby threatened off her back but couldn't get anything. UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs Gastelum Results





UFC Fight Night took place April 17th from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action Tracy Cortez took a decision from Justine Kish. In round one Cortez got the fight to the ground and dominated with hard ground and pound. In round two she tried the same but Kish was able to stand and win the round on her feet. Round three was much like round two except Cortez had more time on top and it was enough to get the decision. Earlier Jessica Penne made her long-awaited return to the cage and took a decision from Lupita Godinez in an exciting fight. Penne was able to get Godinez to back into the cage and force the clinch and get her back standing multiple times. Bellator 256: Bader vs Machida 2 Results






Bellator 256 took place April 9th from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. In women's action, Liz Carmouche took a decision from Vanessa Porto. There was not a ton of action as it was mostly Carmouche controlling the clinch on the cage and looking for takedowns while Porto tried to stay on the outside. Cat Zingano took a win in a quick fashion defeating Olivia Parker. Zingano got the clinch immediately and looked for the takedown. They went to the mat and Parker settled in on her back and Zingano looked to advance. Zingano lost her position and Parker got on top but Zingano got the armbar and the tap.
