UFC Fight Night: Hall vs Silva Results




UFC Fight Night took place October 31st from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event Uriah Hall defeated Anderson Silva in probably Silva's last fight. Early rounds saw Silva circling and occasionally coming forward to land some strikes as Hall seemed hesitant and landed a few counters. Late in round three Hall dropped him but time ran out before he could really look for the finish. In round four Hall again dropped him and this time had time to follow it up and get the finish. LFA 94: Demopoulos vs Godinez Results




LFA 94 took place October 30th from Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas. In the main event Lupita Godinez became the new strawweight champion taking a decision from Vanessa Demopoulos. Early Godinez established her superior striking hurting Demopoulos a few times with punches. As the rounds wore on Godinez continued to do that but Demopoulos showed a ton of heart and even came back and had success of her own, but it was too late and the judges sided with Godinez. UFC 254 took place October 24th from UFC Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In women's action Lauren Murphy made her claim for a flyweight title shot with a victory over Liliya Shakirova. Round one saw Murphy stalking her down landing punches. In round after trading punches with Murphy getting the better of it, the fight went to the ground and Murphy secured the choke for the tap. Earlier Miranda Maverick won her UFC debut defeating Liana Jojua. Round one started with Jojua landing some good punches. Then they really began exchanging and during the exchange Maverick landed an elbow that opened a cut on Jojua's nose. Between rounds the doctor stopped the fight giving Maverick the win. In women's action Jessica Andrade made her debut at flyweight a success with a first round stoppage of Katlyn Chookagian. Andrade got her down early but it was Chookagian looks for submissions of her back before they stood again. The story of the fight was Kerouche's inability to stop the takedowns or defend on the ground. Each round saw Di Segni get takedowns with relative ease and land ground and pound. UFC Fight Night: Holm vs Aldana Results





UFC Fight Night took place October 3rd from UFC Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In the main event Holly Holm looked outstanding taking a dominant decision from Irene Aldana. Each round was the same with Holm outstriking her, landing more and harder shots and mixing in some takedowns. Earlier Germaine de Randamie got a win over Julianna Pena. Round one saw De Randamie use her striking to land some good shots. Round two Pena got the fight to the ground and took control. In round three, after a close few minutes, the fight went to the ground where De Randamie put her to sleep with a guillotine. Also Loma Lookboonmee looked great taking a decision from Jinh Yu Frey using fast strikes, landing hard kicks and doing some damage in the clinch.
