The final installment of the current Contender Series took place November 17th from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action Gloria de Paula took an easy decision from Pauline Macias. Macias was able to get some takedowns but soon as she did de Paula would get into the better position and control the fight from there. Also Victoria Leonardo defeated Chelsea Hackett. Hackett was doing really well on the feet and even had Leonardo hurt in round two but Leonardo was able to get a clinch and a takedown and Leonardo finished the fight from there. 1. Flyweight: Victoria Leonardo (8-2) defeated Chelsea Hackett (3-1-1) via TKO at 4:41 of Round 2.
2. Lightweight: Tucker Lutz (11-1) defeated Sherrard Blackledge (5-1) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/30-27). We scored it 30-27 Lutz.
3. Strawweight: Gloria de Paula (5-2) defeated Pauline Macias (4-1) via Unanimous Decision (30-26/30-26/30-27). We scored it 30-27 de Paula.
4. Heavyweight: Nick Maximov (5-1) defeated Oscar Cota (11-3) via Unanimous Decision (30-26/30-26/29-28). We scored it 30-26 Maximov.
5. Flyweight: JP Buys (9-2) defeated Jacob Silva (6-4) via Technical Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 4:54 of Round 1.
