UFC 255 took place November 21st from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action Valentina Shevchenko retained her flyweight title win a win over Jennifer Maia. The story of the fight was mainly Shevchenko getting the clinch and takedown with Maia unable to stop it. Maia defending well on the bottom but couldn't really offer much offense off her back and Shevchenko grinded out the decision. Earlier Katlyn Chookagian got back on track with a good performance taking a decision from Cynthia Calvillo. Chookagian used her reach advantage to land her jab and kicks and take the decision. Also Antonina Shevchnko looked really good getting a win over Ariane Lipski. Shevchenko took her down in round one and came close to a finish.
