Invicta FC 43 took place November 20th from Police Athletic League KC in Kansas City, Kansas. In the main event Kayla Harrison made her Invicta debut a successful one with a dominant win over Courtney King. About half way through round two, Harrison took her down and with an elbow opened a huge cut on King that was bleeding really badly. In round two Harrison again got her down and landed more ground and pound forcing the ref to stop the fight. Here are all your results and our Of The Night Awards.
1. Flyweight: Juliana Miller (2-0) defeated Kendal Holowell (0-1) via Tapout (Armbar) at 3:49 of Round 1.
2. Strawweight: Meaghan Penning (1-0) defeated Alexa Culp (1-1) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Penning.
3. Bantamweight: Hope Chase (3-1) defeated Brittney Cloudy (2-3) via Tapout (Rear Naked Choke) at 4:37 of Round 2.
4. Flyweight: Stephanie Geltmacher (5-1) defeated Caitlin Sammons (3-1) via KO at 4:28 of Round 1.
5. Featherweight: Kayla Harrison (8-0) defeated Courtney King (4-2) via TKO at 4:48 of Round 2.
