CES 54 took place January 19th with a Main Event featuring Nate Andrews defending his Lightweight Title against Bryce Logan. Round one saw Andrews have the advantage in the striking, landing harder more accurate shots but Logan did have his moments as well. Round two Andrews had him hurt with punches forcing Logan to try and get in and clinch, but in trying to go to the ground, he allowed Andrews to sink in a guillotine for the tap. In women's action, Jessy Miele made her return to the cage and won against Kylie O'Hearn. The story of the fight was O'Hearn being unable to stop Miele from getting the takedowns and once on top, Miele did a great job maintining her position and landing strikes. In round three, O'Hearn at first seemed to be more aggressive and got a takedown however Miele did a great job to escape and land in mount and landing punches till the ref stepped in. 1. Light Heavyweight: William Knight (4-0) defeated Kevin Haley (6-5) via Tapout (Strikes) at 3:33 of Round 1.
2. Featherweight: Jessy Miele (7-3) defeated Kylie O'Hearn (1-1) via TKO at 4:27 of Round 3.
3. Bantamweight: Tateki Matsuda (14-9) defeated Josh Ricci (4-2) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Matsuda.
4. Middleweight: Eric Spicely (11-4) defeated Leo Pla (12-7) via TKO at 3:53 of Round 1.
5. Bantamweight Title: Tony Gravely (16-5) defeated Kris Moutinho (7-3) via KO at 4:02 of Round 4.
6. Lightweight Title: Nate Andrews (15-1) defeated Bryce Logan (9-4) via Tapout (Guillotine Choke) at 1:42 of Round 2.
