UFC 251 took place July 11th from Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In women's action Rose Namajunas won a very exciting fight against Jessica Andrade. Round one saw Namajunas use great striking and footwork to have Andrade backing up. From there on there were some very close rounds with each fighter having moments where they hurt their opponent. In the end, two of the three judges sided with Namajunas. Earlier Amanda Ribas got an impressive win over Paige VanZant, quickly getting the takedown and using her superior ground game to get the first round submission.
