UFC 247 took place February 8th from Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. In women's action, Valentina Shevchenko retained her flyweight title defeating Katlyn Chookagian. Shevchenko battered Chookagian early and often, first on the feet and then at the end of round one opening a cut on the ground. Round two was more of the same, culminating in round three with Shevchenko landing ground and pound forcing the ref to step in. Earlier Lauren Murphy scored a big win over Andrea Lee. All three rounds were fairly close with both fighters landing some good punches and kicks. In the end two of the three judges sided with Murphy. Here are all your results and our Of The Night Awards.

4. Bantamweight: Mario Bautista (8-1) defeated Miles Johns (10-1) via TKO at 1:41 of Round 2.
5. Welterweight: Khaos Williams (10-1) defeated Alex Morono (17-6, 1NC) via KO at :27 of Round 1.
6. Flyweight: Lauren Murphy (12-4) defeated Andrea Lee (11-4) via Split Decision (28-29/29-28/30-27). We scored it 30-27 Lee.
7. Middleweight: Trevin Giles (12-2) defeated James Krause (27-9) via Split Decision (28-29/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-27 Giles.
8. Heavyweight: Derrick Lewis (23-7, 1NC) defeated Ilir Latifi (15-8, 1NC) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Lewis.
9. Featherweight: Dan Ige (13-2) defeated Mirsad Bektic (13-3) via Split Decision (28-29/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Bektic.
10. Heavyweight: Justin Tafa (4-1) defeated Juan Adams (5-3) via TKO at 1:59 of Round 1.
11. Flyweight Title: Valentina Shevchenko (19-3) defeated Katlyn Chookagian (13-3) via TKO at 1:03 of Round 3.
12. Light Heavyweight Title: Jon Jones (26-1, 1NC) defeated Dominick Reyes (12-1) via Unanimous Decision (48-47/48-47/49-46). We scored it 48-47 Jones.
