Invicta Fc 33 took place on December 15th from Kansas City, Missouri. In the Main Event, Jinh Yu Frey defended her Atomweight Title against Minna Grusander in a rematch of their previous title fight which Frey took a close decision. This fight was incredibly close just like the first one. No round was a clear round for either fighter. Frey definitely landed the harder shots but Grusander landed good shots in the clinch. The tale of the fight was Frey being better when they were separated and Grusander when they were in close. In the end, two of the three judges sided with Frey. In the Co-Main Event, Danielle Taylor took a decision from Montserrat Ruiz. Taylor easily took the first two rounds, being the more aggressive and accurate striker. In round three, Ruiz tried to make a comeback landing some good shots and looking for a submission but it was too little too late. Here are all your results and our Of The Night Awards.

3. Bantamweight: Brittney Victoria (3-0) defeated Sarah Kleczka (2-2) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-27 Victoria.
4. Flyweight: Brianna Van Buren (5-2) defeated Jamie Moyle (4-4) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/30-26). We scored it 30-27 Van Buren.
5. Atomweight: Alesha Zappitella (5-0, 1NC) defeated Amber Brown (7-5) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Zappitella.
6. Strawweight: Kay Hansen (4-2) defeated Sharon Jacobson (5-4) via Tapout (Armbar) at 4:43 of Round 3.
7. Strawweight: Danielle Taylor (10-4) defeated Montserrat Ruiz (8-1) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Taylor.
8. Atomweight Title: Jinh Yu Frey (8-3) defeated Minna Grusander (6-3) via Split Decision (48-47/47-48/48-47). We scored it 49-46 Grusander.
