We got another installment of Contender Series on August 18th from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action Cheyanne Buys took a one sided decision from Hilarie Rose. Buys landed the harder more frequent strikes and any time Rose got the clinch, Buys controlled in and the same with takedowns. Buys took all three rounds and all the scorecards. 3. Welterweight: Orion Cosce (7-0) defeated Matt Dixon (9-1) via TKO at 4:42 of Round 3.
4. Strawweight: Cheyanne Buys (5-1) defeated Hilarie Rose (4-2) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/30-27). We scored it 30-27 Buys.
5. Welterweight: Louis Cosce (7-0) defeated Victor Reyna (11-5) via TKO at 1:12 of Round 1.
