CES 61 took place October 14th from Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, Rhode Island. In the main event Nick Alley faced John Gotti III. Round one saw Gotti get on top and land some shots to get off to the lead. From there on though it was the superior grappling of Alley as he got dominant positions, looked for submissions, landed punches and elbows to take the final two rounds and get the win. 1. 163LB Catch Weight: Eddy George (2-0) defeated Frank Mazepa (0-1) via TKO at 3:21 of Round 1.
2. 150LB Catch Weight: Connor Matthews (3-0) defeated Josh Marer (1-2) via Tapout (Rear Naked Choke) at :57 of Round 1.
3. Flyweight: Mitch Raposo (5-0) defeated Matt Almy (4-2) via Unanimous Decision (30-26/30-26/30-27). We scored it 30-27 Raposo.
4. Heavyweight: Jamelle Jones (9-6) defeated Tyler King (12-9) via KO at 4:57 of Round 1.
5. Bantamweight: Kris Moutinho (8-4) defeated Ashiek Ajim (3-1) via TKO at 2:45 of Round 2.
6. Light Heavyweight: Fabio Cherant (6-1) defeated Yu Ji (2-1) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-26/29-28). We scored it 30-27 Cherant.
7. Welterweight: Nick Alley (6-3) defeated John Gotti III (5-1) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-27). We scored 29-27 Alley.
