LFA 97 took place January 15th from Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas. In women's action Loveth Young scored a very impressive win over Kelly D'Angelo. In round one Young used her power edge to land the harder shots on D'Angelo and take the round. In round two she stepped it up and hurt D'Angelo to both the head and body before dropping her for the finish. Earlier Claire Guthrie looked great scoring an easy decision over Nadine Mandiau. 6. Strawweight: Loveth Young (3-1-1) defeated Kelly D'Angelo (4-4) via TKO at 1:36 of Round 2.
7. Featherweight: Kamuela Kirk (10-4) defeated Guilherme Santos (8-4) via TKO at 4:25 of Round 1.
8. Lightweight: Jacob Rosales (13-6) defeated Jose Martinez (11-5) via Unanimous Decision (29-27/29-27/30-25). We scored it 30-26 Rosales.
9. Lightweight Title: Nick Browne (11-1) defeated Arthur Estrazulas (12-5) via Unanimous Decision (49-46/49-46/48-46). We scored it 48-47 Estrazulas.
