Cage Fury FIghting Championships 72: Brady vs Hakim Results

Cage Fury 72 took place February 16th from Hardrock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In the night's Main Event, Sean Brady successfully defended his Welterweight Title with a fourth round stoppage of Taj Abdul Hakim. Brady controlled the majority of the bout using more accurate striking and timely takedowns. Late in round 4, Brady got a dominant position and landed blows till the ref stepped in. In the Co-Main Event, Kyle Daukas became the new Middleweight champion beating Jonavin Webb in a battle for the vacant title. 3. Featherweight: Joe Tizano (1-0) defeated Ben Allen (1-4) via TKO at :12 of Round 2.

4. Bantamweight: Justin Clarke (2-0) defeated Chaka Worthy (1-1) via Split Decision (Scores not read). We scored it 29-28 Clarke.

5. Featherweight: Paul Capaldo (2-0) defeated Tyler Mathison (1-1) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/30-27/30-27). We scored it 30-27 Capaldo.

6. 175LB Catch Weight: Joey Pierotti (11-1) defeated David Mundell (10-5) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 30-27 Pierotti.

7. Flyweight: Andre Barquero Morera (7-1) defeated Tommy Espinosa (6-2) via Majority Decision (28-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Morera.

8. Flyweight: Sean Santella (21-7-1) defeated Naoki Inoue (11-2) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/30-27). We scored it 30-27 Santella.

9. Middleweight Title: Kyle Daukas (6-0) defeated Jonavin Webb (12-3) via Technical Submission (D'arce Choke) at 5:00 of Round 3.
