LFA 85: Hughes vs Demopoulos Results






LFA 85 took place July 17th from Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In the main event Vanessa Demopoulos became the promotions first strawweight champion defeating Sam Hughes. The majority of the bout was Hughes using superior striking to land hard shots that had Demopoulos backing up. UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs Ige Results






UFC Fight Night took place July 15th from Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In women's action Taila Santos scored an impressive win over Molly McCann. When exchanging both fighters landed some good shots, but each round as the fight got into the clinch, Santos took over and scored some nice takedowns to sweep the score cards. Earlier Liana Jojua got a first round win over Diana Belbita. Belbita came forward landing punches but for some reason then forced the clinch and took it down where she was at a disadvantage and Jojua got the armbar for the tap. UFC 251: Usman vs Masvidal Results




UFC 251 took place July 11th from Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In women's action Rose Namajunas won a very exciting fight against Jessica Andrade. Round one saw Namajunas use great striking and footwork to have Andrade backing up. From there on there were some very close rounds with each fighter having moments where they hurt their opponent. In the end, two of the three judges sided with Namajunas. Earlier Amanda Ribas got an impressive win over Paige VanZant, quickly getting the takedown and using her superior ground game to get the first round submission. LFA 84: Gonzales vs Childers REsults





LFA had it's first show since the lockdown began July 10th from Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In the main event, Justin Gonzales became the new featherweight champion defeating Jake Childers. Round one was all Gonzales using better striking and some good work on the ground. In round two Childers took over on the ground and was very close with some submission attempts. BFC 56 Results





BFC 56 took place July 8th from Prim Hall in Minsk, Belarus. In women's action, in a kickboxing bout, Svetlana Spetsian won her pro debut over previously unbeaten Ksenia Nikolaeva. Rounds one and two saw Spetsian landing the harder punches and kicks and due some good work from the clinch. In round three Nikolaeva mounted some offense of her own and had her opponent looking tired. But it was too little too late as the judges sided with Spetsian.
