UFC Fight Night took place September 5th from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action Viviane Araujo took a decision from Montana De La Rosa. THe fight stayed on the feet the whole time and Araujo used her superior striking to land harder and more frequent strikes. De La Rosa for her part did have moments where she landed some nice shots when she went first but it wasn't nearly enough to equal what Araujo did. 4. Middleweight: Andre Muniz (20-4) defeated Bartosz Fabinski (15-4) via Tapout (Armbar) at 2:42 of Round 1.
5. Welterweight: Michel Periera (24-11, 2NC) defeated Zelim Imadaev (8-3) via Tapout (Rear Naked Choke) at 4:39 of Round 3.
6. Light Heavyweight: Ovince Saint Preux (25-14) defeated Alonzo Menifield (9-2) via KO at 4:07 of Round 2.
7. Heavyweight: Alistair Overeem (47-18, 1NC) defeated Augusto Sakai (15-2-1) via TKO at :26 of Round 5.
