UFC Fight Night took place March 13th from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action Angela Hill looked great taking a decision from Ashley Yoder. From the outset, Hill outstruck her and had her backing up. Yoder did get a takedown late in the third round but that was really her only significant offense. Earlier JJ Aldrich took a very close decision from Cortney Casey. Round one saw Casey look good coming forward and landing. Round two saw Aldrich come back and have good moments on the feet. Round three was very close with both landing some good shots. In the end, two of the three judges sided with Aldrich. Also, Jinh Yu Frey got her first UFC win taking a decision from Gloria de Paula using her takedowns to stay on top and prevent de Paula from getting anything going. 2. Strawweight: Jinh Yu Frey (10-6) defeated Gloria de Paula (5-3) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Frey.
3. Flyweight: JJ Aldrich (9-4) defeated Cortney Casey (9-9) via Split Decision (28-29/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Casey.
4. Lightweight: Nasrat Haqparast (13-3) defeated Rafa Garcia (12-1) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Haqparast.
5. Bantamweight: Rani Yahya (27-10-1, 1NC) defeated Ray Rodriguez (16-8) via Tapout (Arm Triangle) at 3:09 of Round 2.
6. Featherweight: Charles Jourdain (11-3-1) defeated Marcelo Rojo (16-8) via TKO at 4:31 of Round 3.
7. Strawweight: Angela Hill (13-9) defeated Ashley Yoder (8-7) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/30-27). We scored it 30-26 Hill.
8. Middleweight: Eryk Anders (13-5, 1NC) vs Darren Stewart (12-6, 2NC) was ruled a No-Contest (Accidental illegal knee by Anders) at 4:37 of Round 1.
9. Flyweight: Matheus Nicolau (16-3-1) defeated Manel Kape (15-6) via Split Decision (29-28/28-29/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Kape.
10. Bantamweight: Davey Grant (13-4) defeated Jonathan Martinez (17-4) via KO at 3:03 of Round 2.
11. Featherweight: Dan Ige (15-3) defeated Gavin Tucker (13-2) via KO at :22 of Round 1.
12. Light Heavyweight: Ryan Spann (19-6) defeated Misha Cirkunov (15-6) via TKO at 1:11 of Round 1.
13. Welterweight: Leon Edwards (18-3, 1NC) vs Belal Muhammad (18-3, 1NC) was ruled a No-Contest (Accidental eye poke by Edwards) at :18 of Round 2.
