UFC Fight Night took place August 1st from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action Jennifer Maia got a huge win over Joanne Calderwood. Calderwood risked her title shot to take the fight and it was the wrong decision. Maia at first was landing the better and harder strikes. 3. Featherweight: Joseph Maness (12-1) defeated Johnny Munoz (10-1) via Unanimous Decision (29-27/29-27/29-27). We scored it 28-28 Draw.
4. Bantamweight: Jonathan Martinez (12-3) defeated Frankie Saenz (13-7) via TKO at :57 of Round 3.
5. Lightweight: Bobby Green (26-10-1) defeated Lando Vannata (11-5-2) via Unanimous Decision (30-26/30-27/30-27). We scored it 29-28 Green.
6. Welterweight: Vicente Luque (19-7-1) defeated Randy Brown (12-4) via TKO at 4:56 of Round 2.
7. Flyweight: Jennifer Maia (18-6-1) defeated Joanne Calderwood (14-5) via Tapout (Armbar) at 4:29 of Round 1.
8. Middleweight: Derek Brunson (21-7) defeated Edmen Shahbazyan (11-1) via TKO at :26 of Round 3.
