UFC was back at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada for another installment of Contender Series. In women's action boxer turned MMA fighter Danyelle Wolf took a decision from Taneisha Tennant. Round one saw Wolf hurting her with punches but Tennant had a big bounce back in round two and had Wolf hurt and in trouble. It all came down to round three which saw both land some good strikes followed by Wolf looking for a guillotine which seemed fairly tight and held on to it for some time. In the end all three judges sided with Wolf. Here are all your results and our Of The Night Awards.
1. Featherweight: Kyle Driscoll (12-3) defeated Dinis Paiva (13-8) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Driscoll.
2. Featherweight: Danyelle Wolf (1-0) defeated Taneisha Tennant (3-1) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Wolf.
3. Welterweight: Michael Lombardo (11-2) defeated Korey Kuppe (8-4) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Lombardo.
4. Featherweight: Collin Anglin (8-1) defeated Muhammadjon Naimov (5-1) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-27/29-27). We scored it 29-28 Anglin.
5. Middleweight: Jordan Williams (9-3) defeated Gregory Rodrigues (7-3) via TKO at 2:19 of Round 1.
