LFA had it's first show since the lockdown began July 10th from Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In the main event, Justin Gonzales became the new featherweight champion defeating Jake Childers. Round one was all Gonzales using better striking and some good work on the ground. In round two Childers took over on the ground and was very close with some submission attempts. But after that it was all Gonzales and early in the fourth he began to batter him with punches and the ref stepped in. Here are all your results and our Of The Night Awards.
1. Featherweight: Bruno Souza (7-1) defeated Kamuela Kirk (9-4) via Split Decision (28-29/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Souza.
2. 150LB Catch Weight: Boston Salmon (7-3) defeated Shawn West (16-11, 1NC) via Disqualification (Knee to downed opponent) at :53 of Round 2.
3. Welterweight: Maycon Mendonca (9-4) defeated Kassius Kayne (13-7) via Tapout (Triangle Choke) at 2:16 of Round 2.
4. Featherweight Title: Justin Gonzales (11-0) defeated Jake Childers (8-1) via TKO at :45 of Round 4.
