Trinity Kings 9 took place March 14th from Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. In the main event, Niko Novelli defeated Robby Ostovich to become the new lightweight champ. Novelli was just a step ahead landing punches and the stronger fighter in the clinch. Ostovich had his own good moments especially in a close round two but in the end the judges sided with Novelli. 1. Welterweight: Isaiah Fonseca (4-2) defeated Kaipo Cabanting (0-3) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/30-26). We scored it 30-26 Fonseca.
2. Lightweight: Georgii Eivas (5-3) defeated Keoni Running (0-1) via TKO at 2:56 of Round 1.
3. Featherweight: Joe Bird (1-1) defeated Mikey Bright (1-1) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/30-27). We scored it 30-27 Bird.
4. Bantamweight: Kalehua Moniz (3-1) defeated Wilbur Alvarez (1-1) via TKO at 4:29 of Round 2.
5. Lightweight: Ben Wilhelm (5-0) defeated Justin Burgess (2-4) via Tapout (Rear Naked Choke) at 2:15 of Round 1.
6. Super Middleweight: Justus Faaiu (4-5) defeated Ryan White Mountain (3-6) via TKO at 5:00 of Round 2.
7. Lightweight Super Fight Title: Scotty Hao (5-3) defeated Timothy Teves (5-2) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Hao.
8. Lightweight Title: Niko Novelli (10-2) defeated Robby Ostovich (8-6-1) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Novelli.
