Eternal MMA 50 took place February 22nd from Skycity Convention Center in Auckland, New Zealand. The card featured a four person tournament to crown a new heavyweight champion featuring Jack Tuave, Ricky Biechun, Henri Burns and Damian Maru which came down to Buns and Biechun with Biechun walking away with a close split decision win. 1. Heavyweight Semi-Finals: Ricky Biechun (3-1) defeated Jack Tuave (3-3) via Unanimous Decision (scores not read). We scored it 30-27 Biechun.
2. Heavyweight Semi-Finals: Henri Burns (2-1) defeated Damian maru (1-2) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/30-27). We scored it 29-28 Burns.
3. Lightweight: Talor Wetere (1-0) defeated James McBride (1-4) via Tapout (Rear Naked Choke) at 1:58 of Round 1.
4. Welterweight: Mike Diamond (3-0) defeated Dimps Gillies (4-2) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/30-27). We scored it 29-28 Diamond.
5. Lightweight: BJ Bland (15-10) defeated Iain Blade (5-8) via Tapout (Guillotine Choke) at :40 of Round 2.
6. Heavyweight Title Finals: Ricky Biechun (4-1) defeated Henri Burns (2-2) via Split Decision (Scores not read). We scored it 29-28 Biechun.
