Valor Bare Knuckle Boxing held it's first event September 21st from 4 Bear Casino and Lodge in New Town, North Dakota. The event featured a four man tournament to crown it's first heavyweight champion and featured a mix of pro boxers and MMA fighters. Here are all your results and our Of The Night Awards.
1. Heavyweight Title Tournament: Mo Siliga (12-6 MMA/0-0-1 Boxing/20-22 Kickboxing) defeated Rameau Sokoudjou (19-18 MMA) via TKO at 1:26 of Round 3.
2. Heavyweight Title Tournament: Mark Godbeer (13-5 MMA) defeated Jack May (11-6 MMA/0-1 Kickboxing) via KO at :50 of Round 1.
3. Heavyweight: Lavar Johnson (18-10 MMA) defeated James McSweeney (15-18 MMA) via KO at :27 of Round 1.
4. Light Heavyweight: Mike Richman (18-8 MMA/2-0 Boxing) vs JC Llamas (9-7 MMA/0-1 Boxing) was ruled a No-Contest (Llamas suffered cut due to accidental clash of heads) at 3:00 of Round 1.
5. Middleweight: Ishe Smith (29-11 Boxing) defeated Estevan Payan (17-13 MMA/1-8-1 Boxing) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/30-27). We scored it 29-28 Smith.
6. Cruiserweight: Joshua Dyer (4-4 MMA) defeated Dane Sayers (12-4 MMA) via TKO at 2:22 of Round 1.
7: Heavyweight Title Tournament Finals: Mark Godbeer (13-5 MMA) defeated Mo Siliga (12-6 MMA/0-0-1 Boxing/20-22 Kickboxing) via TKO at 2:56 of Round 1.
