LFA 105: Rodriguez vs Gotsyk Results

LFA 105 took place April 23rd from Grand Hotel Casino and Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma. In the main event Pierangela Rodriguez won the vacant strawweight title by defeating Svetlana Gotsyk. Most of the bout was the two trading strikes on the feet with Rodriguez landing the harder shots. Gotsyk started to make a comeback late but then in round five the went to the ground and Rodriguez got the TKO. Earlier Tabatha Ricci remained unbeaten by defeating Shawna Ormsby. In round one Ricci got it to the ground and remained on top landing strikes. Ormsby threatened off her back but couldn't get anything. 3. Light Heavyweight: Zac Pauga (3-0) defeated Logan Nail (2-2) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/30-27). We scored it 29-28 Pagua.

4. Strawweight: Tabatha Ricci (5-0) defeated Shawna Ormsby (2-4) via TKO at 4:50 of Round 2.

5. Welterweight: Mark Martin (6-1) defeated Renato Valente (7-4) via Split Decision (28-29/29-28/30-27). We scored it 29-28 Martin.

6. Light Heavyweight: Bruce Souto (14-3) defeated Cristian Torres (15-12) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Souto.

7. Featherweight: Canaan Kawaihae (6-1, 1NC) defeated Jake Childers (8-2) via Tapout (Guillotine Choke) at :20 of Round 1.

8. Strawweight Title: Pierangela Rodriguez (6-0) defeated Svetlana Gotsyk (13-5) via TKO at 1:16 of Round 5.
