UFC 258: Usman vs Burns Results

UFC 258 took place February 13th from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action Alexa Grasso took a decision from Maycee Barber. Rounds one and two saw Grasso land the harder punches and when Barber initiated clinches in was Grasso controlling them and doing more work. Round three saw Barber step it up and do really well on the feet and had Grasso hanging on but it was too little too late. Earlier Polyana Viana defeated Mallory Martin. 2. 140LB Catch Weight: Chris Gutierrez (16-3-2) defeated Andre Ewell (17-7) via Unanimous Decision (30-26/29-28/29-27). We scored it 29-28 Gutierrez.

3. Strawweight: Polyana Viana (12-4) defeated Mallory Martin (7-4) via Tapout (Armbar) at 3:18 of Round 1.

4. Welterweight: Belal Muhammad (18-3) defeated Dhiego Lima (17-8) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/30-27).  We scored it 30-27 Muhammad.

5. Middleweight: Anthony Hernandez (8-2, 1NC) defeated Rodolfo Vieira (7-1) via Tapout (Guillotine Choke) at 1:53 of Round 2.

6. Middleweight: Julian Marquez (8-2) defeated Maki Pitolo (13-8) via Tapout (Anaconda Choke) at 4:17 of Round 3.

7. Featherweight: Ricky Simon (18-3) defeated Brian Kelleher (22-12) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/30-27). We scored it 30-27 Simon.

8. Middleweight: Kelvin Gastelum (17-6, 1NC) defeated Ian Heinisch (14-4) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/29-28/29-28). We scored it 30-27 Gastelum.

9. Flyweight: Alexa Grasso (13-3) defeated Maycee Barber (8-2) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Grasso.

10. Welterweight Title: Kamaru Usman (18-1) defeated Gilbert Burns (19-4) via TKO at :34 of Round 3.
