UFC Fight Night took place January 20th from Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In women's action Viviane Araujo scored a dominant decision win over Roxanne Modafferi. From the beginning it was Araujo using her power punches to hurt Modafferi and have her in trouble. Modafferi tried to force some takedowns but whenever she did it was Araujo who got the better positions. Earlier Manon Fiorot made her UFC debut a successful one. It was clear early she was the better striker and was landing shots that had Victoria Leonardo in trouble. Leonardo showed toughness surviving the round.
