UFC 256: Figueiredo vs Moreno Results

UFC 256 took place December 12th from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In women's action Mackenzie Dern took a decision from Virna Jandiroba. The bout between the two BJJ standouts was fought mostly on the feet. Round one saw Dern land the harder shots and take the round. In round two Jandiroba landed some nice strikes and worked in the clinch to take the round. Round three was close but the judges sided with Dern. Earlier Tecia Torres got a win over Sam Hughes. Torres used her significant speed advantage to outland Hughes and busted her eye up. After the round Hughes said she couldn't see and that was enough for the doctor to call it off. 5. Featherweight: Cub Swanson (27-11) defeated Daniel Pineda (27-14, 2NC) via KO at 1:52 of Round 2.

6. Heavyweight: Cyril Gane (7-0) defeated Junior Dos Santos (21-9) via TKO at 2:34 of Round 2.

7. Middleweight: Kevin Holland (21-5) defeated Ronaldo Souza (26-9, 1NC) via KO at 1:45 of Round 1.

8. Strawweight: Mackenzie Dern (10-1) defeated Virna Jandiroba (16-2) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Dern.

9. Lightweight: Charles Oliveira (30-8, 1NC) defeated Tony Ferguson (26-5) via Unanimous Decision (30-26/30-26/30-26). We scored it 30-26 Ferguson.
