LFA 89 took place August 28th from Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In the main event Brant Moore took a decision from Joe Gianneti. All three rounds were similar with Moore getting the fight to the ground, getting a top position and while not inflicting a ton of damage, keeping the position till the bell sounded. 1. Flyweight: Clayton Carpenter (3-0) defeated Manuel Medina (0-1) via Unanimous Decision (29-27/29-28/30-27). We scored it 29-28 Carpenter.
2. Light Heavyweight: Josh Fremd (5-1) defeated Lamar Gosey (3-1) via KO at 1:26 of Round 1.
3. Welterweight: Steve Jones (7-1) defeated Tyler Ray (6-2) via Split Decision (29-28/28-29/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Jones.
4. Bantamweight: Ricardo Dias (9-4) defeated Desmond Torres (7-3) via Split Decision (28-29/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Dias.
5. Welterweight: Demarques Jackson (11-4) defeated Adrian Hadribeaj (10-2) via Tapout (Rear Naked Choke) at 3:19 of Round 1.
6. Lightweight: Brant Moore (8-1) defeated Joe Gianneti (9-3-1) via Unanimous Decision (30-27/30-27/30-27). We scored it 30-27 Moore.
