FAC 3 took place August 14th from Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri. In the main event Kevin Croom became the promotions featherweight champion taking a decision from Anderson Hutchinson. After two close rounds that saw both land some good strikes, Croom took control as Hutchinson began to tire by outstriking his opponent and coming forward. In round five Hutchinson seemed to gain some energy and took Croom down and won the round but it was too little too late. Here are all your results and our Of The Night Awards.
1. Welterweight: John O'Brien (3-0) defeated Lamont Jefferson (2-2) via Majority Decision (Scores not read). We scored it 30-27 O'Brien.
2. Welterweight: Joseph Galaviz (2-2, 1NC) vs Anthony Goldfield (5-2, 1NC) was ruled a No Contest (accidental eye poker by Galaviz) at :42 of Round 2.
3. Welterweight: Mikey England (2-0) defeated Travis Ford (1-2) via TKO at 1:42 of Round 2.
4. Featherweight: David Onama (5-0) defeated Sam Agushi (2-1) via TKO at 3:48 of Round 1.
5. Welterweight: Trey Ogden (14-4) defeated Cody Carrillo (15-19) via Tapout (Rear Naked Choke) at 4:30 of Round 1.
6. FEatherweight Title: Kevin Croom (21-12) defeated Anderson Hutchinson (7-3) via Unanimous Decision (49-46/48-47/49-46). We scored it 49-46 Croom
