M-1 Global was back with A Time of New Heroes V on May 17th from St. Petersburg, Russia. In the Main Event Boris Medvedev scored a first round win over Vladislav Shabalin. Most of the round was lots of circling and not landing many punches. When the fight hit the ground Medvedev seized control and got his back and the choke with just seconds remaining.
