Bellator 226 took place September 7th from SAP Center in San Jose, California. In women's action Jessica Borga got a first round win over Amber Leibrock. Leibrock was coming forward from the beginning and landing strikes that had Borga looking in bad shape. Borga however, was able to force a clinch and the two took turns putting each other's backs to the cage. Borga secured a takedown and took control from there before getting the armbar for the tap.
