Invicta FC 36 took place August 9th from Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas. In the main event, Pam Sorenson became the new featherweight champion, winning the vacant title by taking a decision from Kaitlin Young. On the feet the bout was pretty even with both landing a variety of strikes. However, Sorenson often got the fight where she had her biggest advantage, the ground, and was able to control the action there. Here are all your results and our Of The Night Awards.

5. Flyweight: Victoria Leonardo (6-1) defeated Stephanie Geltmacher (4-1) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Leonardo.
6. Atomweight: Jessica Delboni (9-1) defeated Lindsey VanZandt (6-2) via Split Decision (29-28/28-29/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Delboni.
7. 119LB Catch Weight: Emily Ducote (8-5) defeated Janaisa Morandin (10-3) via KO at 4:03 of Round 1.
8. Featherweight Title: Pam Sorenson (8-3) defeated Kaitlin Young (10-10-1) via Unanimous Decision (50-44/49-45/48-45). We scored it 49-45 Sorenson.
