UFC 235 took place March 2nd. In the night's Main Event, Jon Jones defended his Light Heavyweight Title taking a decision from Anthony Smith. The fight wasn't overly exciting with neither fighter showing a large amount of aggression. In the end, Jones was just the more active and effective striker. In women's action, Hannah Cifers took a split decision from Polyana Viana in an exciting fight. All three rounds were close with Viana landing more strikes but Cifers landing the harder and more damaging strikes. Macy Chiasson made quick work of Gina Mazany. After a clinch on the cage, Chiasson landed hard shots that had Mazany backing up before dropping her for the stoppage. Also, Weili Zhang took a unanimous decision from Tecia Torres. Both fighters had good moments on the feet but Zhang was just out landing and pressuring her and took the decision. Here are all your results and our Of The Night Awards.

6. Light Heavyweight: Johnny Walker (17-3) defeated Misha Cirkunov (14-5) via TKO at :36 of Round 1.
7. Featherweight: Zabit Magomedsharipov (17-1) defeated Jeremy Stephens (28-16) via Unanimous Decision (29-28/29-28/29-28). We scored it 29-28 Stephens.
8. Bantamweight: Pedro Munhoz (18-3, 1NC) defeated Cody Garbrandt (11-3) via KO at 4:52 of Round 1.

10. Welterweight: Ben Askren (19-0, 1NC) defeated Robbie Lawler (28-13, 1NC) via Technical Submission (Bulldog Choke) at 3:20 of Round 1.
11. Welterweight Title: Kamaru Usman (15-1) defeated Tyron Woodley (19-4-1) via Unanimous Decision (50-44/50-44/50-45). We scored it 49-46 Usman.
12. Light Heavyweight Title: Jon Jones (24-1, 1NC) defeated Anthony Smith (31-14) via Unanimous Decision (48-44/48-44/48-44). We scored it 48-45 Jones.
