CES MMA 55: Wells vs De Jesus Results
CES 55 took place March 29th from Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut. In the Main Event, Vinicius De Jesus won the Welterweight Title defeating Jeremiah Wells. Wells, the defending champion, won round one but after that, he fought backing up too much and De Jesus kept coming forward and landing the better shots. In the end, De Jesus won on all three judges score cards. In women's action Hilarie Rose won a close decision from Rosa Acevedo. Each round was basically the same with Rose getting the takedown and Acevedo sweeping and getting on top. But with little damage except a bad cut causing a lot of blood on Acevedo, Rose was closely getting the rounds due to the takedowns, at least two of the three judges felt that way. Here are all your results and our Of The Night Awards.
