UFC made their Argentina debut from Buenos Aires on November 17th at Luna Park. In the night's Main Event Santiago Ponzinibbio made he claim to a title shot with an impressive win over Neil Magny. Ponzinibbio laned hard strikes throughout especially some brutal leg kicks that had Magny hurt and have trouble standing, even falling multiple times. Midway through the fourth with Magny hurting already, Ponzinibbio dropped him causing the ref to stop it. In women's action Cynthia Calvillo scored a win over Poliana Botelho. Calvillo showed no signs of what seemed to be a hard weight cut coming out aggressively and taking control right away and got the submission with seconds remaining in the opening round.
