Tuff-N-Uff: The Future Stars of MMA Results
Tuff-N-Uff presented another all-amateur card on Marh 30th from Las Vegas, Nevada. In the Main Event, Grant Neal remained undefeated taking the Light Heavyweight Title with a second round stoppage of CJ Floor. Neal dominated from the opening bell not allowing Floor to mount an offense before getting the submission in the second round. In women's action, in a battle of debuting fighters, Christina Ortiz landed a beautiful headkick to knock out Ashlee Gambino. Round one was fairly close with Ortiz being the more effective fighter before mistiming a headkick and falling down with Gambino on top. Alaska Fighting Championship 138: Lopez vs Ryan Results
Alaska Fighting Championship held their 138th installment on March 28th from The Alaska Airlines Center in Anchorage, Alaska. In the night's Main Event, Tony Lopez retained his Heavyweight Title with a victory over former champ Brian Ryan. After two tentative rounds, Lopez dropped Ryan with a hard head kick in the third and landed more shots opening up a bad cut on Ryan's head. After the round the doctor elected to stop the bout. In women's action Wendy Rodriguez remained undefeated with a first round stoppage of Carolyn Biskup. Biskup was more effective very early but Rodriguez dropped her and landed more ground and pound and while Biskup worked to escape, she couldn't and Rodriguez forced the ref to step in.
